How It Works
Identify Your Block
Not all blocks are the same. A blank page needs a different fix than burnout. Pick the one that matches your situation.
Get Your Constraint
Constraints force your brain to find new paths. You will get specific rules, a time limit, and an explanation of why it helps.
Create Something
Do the exercise. It does not have to be good. It just has to be different. That is the whole point.

Why Constraints Help
When you have total freedom, every choice feels wrong. When you have no freedom, there is no room to create. Constraints sit in the middle. They give you just enough structure to move forward without killing the spark.
A writer who must use exactly 50 words cannot waste time on filler. A painter who can only use three colors stops worrying about palette. The constraint becomes a game, and games are easier to start than "serious work."
Common Mistakes
Skipping the time limit is the biggest one. If you give yourself all day, the constraint loses its power. Set a timer. When it rings, stop. You can always do another round.
Another mistake is judging the output. These exercises are meant to produce rough, weird, imperfect work. That is the goal. You are training your brain to make moves, not masterpieces.
When to Use This
Use this when you have been stuck for more than a day. Use it as a warm-up before a real session. Use it when you notice you have been making the same thing for weeks.
Do not use it as a replacement for rest. If you are truly burned out, no constraint will help. Sleep first. Then come back.
